Bill Caldwell
Born in Geelong, Bill Caldwell first studied art by correspondence at the age of nine. Graduating from RMIT, he pursued a successful career in graphic design, while painting as a hobby. Turning to painting full time, he has won numerous awards, including Camberwell, twice. His work is represented in collections in England, USA, France and Japan, as well as throughout Australia. He is a member of the Twenty Melbourne Painters Society (currently as secretary), and teaches at the Peninsula Arts Society.
