I have lived in Nillumbik for over 60 years and loved painting since I was in primary school in Research. I was lucky enough to spend my secondary years at Eltham High school where wonderful art teachers nurtured my creativity. Since then I have been privileged to study under David Moore at Monsalvat, and currently under artist and teacher Ron Reynolds. Two inspiring painting trips to Umbria and Tuscany with David Moore and Peter Wegner were also highlights. I have found my inspiration from the beautiful landscapes and colours in Australia, but particularly in Nillumbik. I have exhibited in group exhibitions at Monsalvat, the Nillumbik prize, Eltham Library, Rose Street Gallery and in Bennabio, Tuscany.
