Lizzie Bohan is an accomplished Ocean Grove-based traditional tonal artist specializing in oils, mixed media, and collage. Over an extensive career, Lizzie has honed her practice under respected tutors at the Victorian Arts Society, Grampians Arts, and across the Bellarine Peninsula. Her diverse practice spans lifelike portraiture, en plein air landscapes, and still life compositions featuring collected vessels and botanical elements. In her collage work, Lizzie creates whimsical, dreamlike, and gothic narratives. As a founder of The Art of Collage workshops, she has taught extensively across the Bellarine and Surf Coast. Her unique classes stand out by integrating the core principles of design and colour theory. Lizzie is an award-winning artist, having won First Place in Mixed Media at both the Geelong Art Show and Birregurra Art Show, as well as a Highly Commended award for oil painting at Birregurra. She regularly exhibits in local art exhibitions and with the Victorian Arts Society and had a group exhibition at the Barwon Heads Arts Council.
