Nicole Benkouar
Nicole Benkouar is a multidisciplinary artist and Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate from RMIT University (2017). Working across oil painting, taxidermy and entomology, her practice is rooted in an enduring fascination with the palette, textures and quiet transformations of the natural world. Grounded in fieldwork and close observation, she explores the tension between fragility and structure, mapping geological time against the intricate forms found in nature. Earth, salt, pigment and specimen meet in works that honour both landscape and life’s smallest architectures. Nicole’s work invites a deeper connection to the subtle forces of time, decay and natural form.
