Tony Windberg’s work explores illusion, material transformation and the fragility of landscape. Over three decades, he has experimented with both natural and synthetic materials, including earth pigments, resins and engraved surfaces influenced by ancient petroglyphs. His works often blur distinctions between painting and object, using layered processes to examine perception, memory and environmental vulnerability.
